Reciprocity – derived from Latin reciprocus, which means “moving back and forth;” that is, going out and coming in.
The law of reciprocity is relevant to every area of life. Every choice and action is a seed that will produce results after its kind.
The divine law of reciprocity demonstrates that what we give to God, He gives back to us.
Seedtime and harvest are God’s law of genetics and also God’s covenant with creation.
Generosity must be a characteristic of the household of faith. We must be givers.
As people of God, we must be motivated by love. Our giving, our reciprocity, must be motivated by love.
Giving is not a debt that we owe but a seed that we sow.
Obedience is hard sometimes, but we must still obey. When we act on God’s word, we put ourselves in position to receive a harvest.
God determines the returns of your fruit. If you have the right perspective and attitude, He will return the blessings to your house.
Consider:
What are you giving? Be sure that you are giving fruits of the Spirit. One seed can spring forth a tree that bears thousands of fruit. Be careful of the seeds you sow.
