Redeeming Personal Time with God

SERMON TAKEAWAYS

  • God has called us to be good stewards – to wisely use the time and gifts He has given us to bring glory to Him.

  • We must be diligent and consistent in what we do with our lives and what God empowers us with.

  • We are called to do good work, to defeat the kingdom of darkness.

  • Seek God for personal growth and advancement. This looks like dedicating time to God each day for personal transformation (at least one hour). Be consistent and intentional. Do not let a day go by without this hour of personal devotion.

  • Diligence is steady application. Steadfast faith pleases God. Diligent faith causes God to show up supernaturally in our lives and in the lives of those around us. When we seek God earnestly, our prayers are successful.

Consider: Is my heart loyal to God?

  • The degree to which God changes us is the degree to which we will change our worlds; so, we must put ourselves in a position to be influenced, and used, by God.

Consider: Am I really seeking God? Do I truly want to be used by God?

  • There must be a longing for God’s presence. Seek Him early in the morning. Seek wholeheartedly.

  • Keeping a loyal, faithful heart is essential for serving God and for seeing His supernatural works in our lives.

  • Give everything to God. Hold nothing back.

  • Walk in faith. Run in faith. Live in faith!
